Last of the fallen leaves

I took this picture two weeks ago in Wells, SW England. After the latest storms hit the west coast yesterday and today with winds of up to 100mph (160km/h), I reckon these were the last of the fallen leaves for this year.

Am I happy to be in Egypt with my 30° and sunshine. The people are all adorable and there are lots of interesting things to see. Yesterday we have been to Cairo, what a city !
You know little mishappenings occur everywhere, my roundtrip through Greece for example was the worst.

Maybe I'm lucky, all the holidays I've had have been trouble-free. Except for one weekend trip to the south coast in England -- now *that* was memorable for all the wrong reasons!

I still don't fancy Egypt, but I'm glad you're enjoying yourself :-)

That's some wind. I could add my lucky two weeks in London without rain. Not bad for October!

Two weeks without rain is indeed pretty good. I hope your luck lasts :-)

Lovely photograph .... love the benches surrounded by leaves. Not my best time of year in terms of temperature, but certainly a very pretty season. Gena

Temperatures have been quite good over here, and we've had a fair amount of sunshine. Can't complain :-)
