Almost full moon

I took this picture near my parents' home in Greece a few days before the August full moon. I was going on an errand with my dad and didn't have my camera with me, but when I saw those clouds and the moon shining bright, I just had to go pick it up and snap this shot.

Beautiful! Do you worry about composition when you snap a photo? I feel like it's driving me crazy and taking the joy out of the whole deal.

Yes, but it only takes me a few seconds to find the right angle etc. Sometimes (like in this case) I know what will look good before I take a pic. But it does take time before you're able to do that, and practice, and familiarity with your camera.

Perhaps you could consiously practise some of the time, and the rest of the time just take photos for enjoyment? You know, like when you learn a language - sometimes you study grammar and do exercises, and sometimes you just speak it, mistakes and all :-)
