Approaching Kardamili

This is the seaside village of Kardamili in the Messinian Mani. The village in the distance is Stoupa. You have to drive down a winding mountain road to get to Kardamili and Stoupa, but the views more than make up for it.

It was very hazy when we were there and the light was strange. I'd love to go back and take the same photo on a clear day.

What a beautiful coastline! The haze isn't so bad, it adds some mystery to the faraway land.

Wow..the coastline is beautiful...it's just like the one I was on recently. nature is so amazing, is'nt it....one can click pictures at various times of teh day or at the same time on various days and each one will be unique.

I'd love to travel the world and see every single beauty on this earth. ah..if only that was possible.

@ Vogon Poet: I guess so, but the view was so stunning in reality, I was rather disappointed by how it looked through the camera lense.

@ A: I thought the same when I saw your Highway 1 post :-)

I will have to remember this place. Some day I will go for a bike ride around the Peloponnese.

That would be awesome and it's my dream too! I'm assuming you mean motorbike rather than push bike, right?

I mean a bicycle. It's the only way to go.

No way am I travelling anywhere on a bicycle. I'll get there on my motorbike and wait for you with a cold glass of water/beer/wine/fruit juice (delete as appropriate).
