Aegina church


Agios Nektarios church on the island of Aegina. I don't think I've seen another church like it.

You are right, this church is so fifferent from the others. I like those round balconies surrounding the church, and the building is so well kept that looks mint new.

I think it's pretty new, probably built in the last 10 years or so.

Modern churches are often a quite sad thing, this is really a nice exception.

Yes, it looks like it's been built in the traditional Byzantine style, which is why it looks so "different".

How long ago did you visit? I think it's pretty new.
