Multicolour whatsits

I saw this photo Gena posted for Color Carnival, and was inspired to find a colourful one of my own for today's post. I couldn't for the life of me work out how to link in to the Color Carnival website, but here it is anyway.

I took this photo in Paris last May. No idea what it shows. Any suggestions?

Pancake racing

Today is Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. We eat them and we race with them. More here.

Live singing at the Cubanita bar in Athens, Greece. A very enjoyable night was had by all, drinking mojitos and caipirinhas while swaying to the music.

Carnival season

It's carnival season and clowns are in. The brighter the costume, the better.

Homemade pizza

My friend Christina invited us round for pizza the other evening. Instead of ordering from Dominos or Pizza Hut as I'd do, she made a pizza from scratch.

What can I say? It really tasted as good as it looked - and I ate too much for someone who's supposed to be on a diet. Ho hum.
