This IKEA box standing inside Doukissis Plakentias metro station in Athens appears to attract quite a bit of interest from passers-by. It is part of IKEA's "small change, big difference" campaign which promotes their refresh and redecorate range.
The campaign was first launched in Australia in July 2008, but I guess it's still appropriate, considering the current economic climate.
ReplyDeleteThat's Greek for me...
ReplyDeleteNever been a great fan of IKEA, but Ilike the idea of the box peddling redecorations.
You'll get my 7 items as I'm back home!
I'm not a big IKEA fan either, but their advertising campaigns are usually interesting and eye catching. I've photographed a few over the years.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your 7 blue items :-)
Pretty cool campaign!
ReplyDeleteYou know what's even cooler about it? They change the decor in the box every day. No wonder people (presumably commuters) are stopping and looking :-)
ReplyDeleteI finally browsed an IKEA down in Fort Lauderdale last year. Not for me. But lots of folks seem to like the stuff.
ReplyDeleteNot for me either, but it seems to have quite a following (and the adverts are good).
ReplyDeletequite an interesting campaign
